How does CueCrux monetise?
Investor FAQ
Three layers, each with a clean reason to exist:
- Free local daemon, forever. The adoption wedge. No account, no trial clock. It seeds passports, receipts, and stored context that make the paid layers natural rather than forced.
- Subscriptions. Pro at £19/user·mo (hosted sync, multi-device passports, better-dense rerank) monetises individuals and teams. Governance at £49/user·mo (fleet-wide attribution, policy gates, revocation that propagates with proof) monetises the organisational need that brought the fleet under management in the first place.
- Metered credits. Roughly £0.01 per credit for hosted heavy lifts only: dense rerank, extraction, attestations. The local dense lane is never metered, which keeps the free tier honest and the meter uncontroversial.
A structural detail worth noting: every credit spend mints a signed receipt, so billing disputes are resolvable by replay. Usage revenue that is self-auditing scales without a trust tax.
