How do metered credits work?

Credits meter the hosted heavy lifts: dense rerank, extraction, attestations. The rate is roughly £0.01 per credit.

The rules that matter:

• Local work is never metered. Everything the daemon does on your CPU, including the local dense lane with your own embedder, is free permanently.
• Every credit spend mints a signed receipt. Your bill is a verifiable trail, line by line. If a number looks wrong, you replay the receipts rather than opening a ticket into the void.
• Credits are metering, not money. They are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and exist only to account for hosted compute honestly.

Subscriptions are separate: Pro at £19/user·mo and Governance at £49/user·mo cover the hosted platform features, with credits on top only for what you actually burn. Details on /pricing.
